Cadwell Park season to close with fireworks and rally action

Thursday, October 05 2017

Cadwell Park's 2017 season will close with the North Humberside Stage Rally and Fireworks on Sunday 19 November.

Action will be headlined by the second round of this winter's Motorsport News Circuit Rally Championship, which is open to a wide range of rally cars of varying shape and size. These will range from modern-day World Rally Championship specification Subarus and Mitsubishis to retro Ford Escorts and other old favourites.

Unlike other events at the Lincolnshire Wolds circuit, the rally will use a unique sequence of stages set around the venue's access roads as well as the circuit itself. The rally will comprise eight stages in total, with two featuring sections of the track in a reverse direction.

Once the dust has settled on the stages, the main rally will be followed by a Group B demonstration, showcasing some of the fastest and most ferocious rally cars of the '80s. Group B represented the peak of rallying's popularity on the world stage with stunning cars from Peugeot, Audi, and Lancia, and it's always a real treat to see them out on track.

Further thrills will be provided by Paul Swift and his incredible stunt driving team, who will wow the crowds with a masterclass of precision driving.

Following the petrol-fuelled action, attention will turn to the skies as the season is brought to a colourful close with a fireworks display.

Tickets for the North Humberside Stage Rally and Fireworks on Sunday 19 November are available online in advance for £15 with free entry for under-13s. For more information, please call 0843 453 9000 or click here.
