MCE BSB Final Showdown: Important spectator information

If you're heading to Brands Hatch this weekend (13-15 October) for the MCE British Superbike Championship, here is some important information to help make your visit to the Final Showdown round even more enjoyable.

Gate opening times
The gate opening times this weekend are as follows:
Friday - 8.30am
Saturday - 8.00am
Sunday - 7.00am

Spectator Searching
Additional security measures will be employed at to help maximise the safety of the public during the British Superbike event. These measures have been implemented after careful consultation with the relevant authorities and specialist advisors. Random bag searches (including picnic boxes and ice boxes) will be carried out by trained security personnel at the pedestrian entrance gates.

Southbank Parking
Southbank is available for car parking (not bikes) for £5 on both Saturday and Sunday.

If you intend to park on Southbank you will need to click here and download a pass.

Please display the pass in your windscreen to ensure that you are directed to the correct entrance when you arrive at the circuit.

All advance sales have now closed and tickets are only available on the gate for the following prices:

Friday (Practice): Adult £10, 13-15 year-olds £6, Senior Citizen £8
Saturday (Qualifying and MCE BSB Race One): Adult £20, 13-15 year-olds £12, Senior Citizen £15
Sunday (Main Raceday): Adult £34, 13-15 year-olds £20, Senior Citizen £26
Children aged under 13: Free on all days

If you have elected to have tickets posted (not print-at-home), you will need to bring their original tickets to the circuit as copies and receipts are not accepted. All advance tickets have now been dispatched and were sent by either Recorded or Special Delivery, meaning a signature is required. In the rare instance that your tickets have not arrived in time you will need to purchase them at the gate price and obtain a refund after the event by returning the gate ticket stubs and your original tickets to the venue office. If you have advance tickets, please have them separated before arriving at the gate.

Print-at-home tickets are emailed on the day of purchase. If you haven't received yours, please contact the call centre on 0343 453 9000.

Grandstand seats
Paddock Hill grandstand is open on Friday and is free of charge. Limited grandstand seating is available to purchase from the Megastore opposite the Kentagon restaurant on both Saturday and Sunday:

Saturday: Paddock Hill £10
Sunday: Paddock Hill £20, Pit Straight £15, Hailwoods £15, Desire Wilson £10

Pit walk
There is a pit walk on main raceday (Sunday) at 8:45. Anyone intending to take part will need to arrive at the queuing point next to Paddock Hill grandstand a minimum of 15 minutes early. Please note: There will be no admittance to the pit walk after 8:53 on Sunday.

Helmet and Leather park
For fans riding to the event there will be two helmet and leather parks operated by the Rotary Club will all proceeds going to local projects. These are located adjacent to the main entrance gate and at the H Gate entrance.

The Kentagon will be open throughout the weekend, with entertainment on Saturday night with our resident DJ Alan 'disco' Stamp and a live band. The restaurant and bar will be open on Friday and Saturday nights, serving great food and drink. Then on main raceday (Sunday) the Kentagon will be open from 7am until late to finish off the weekend in style.

MCE BSB radio
You won't miss any of the commentary from anywhere around the circuit by tuning in to 87.7FM. You can also contact the BSB radio team via text to 60777 starting your message with bsb or by email to studio@britishsuperbike.com.

Event programmes are available for just £5 from the dedicated programme booths or from the Megastore. Each programme includes rider profiles and a selection of in-depth articles on all championships competing this weekend.

Big screen
You won't miss any of the action thanks to the big screens. On Saturday you can see all the action on one screen at Southbank. On Sunday there will be two screens located on Southbank with an additional screen opposite Hailwoods grandstand.

The Brands Hatch Funfair will be open throughout the weekend with a selection of thrilling rides for race fans of all ages, plus there will be several bouncy castles. On Sunday the attractions will also include Diggerland and face painting. Note: individual charges apply.

Adventure playground
The Brands Hatch adventure playground, located next to the Kentagon restaurant, features a motorsport theme and has equipment for children of all ages from toddler to 14.There are climbing frames, swings and much more!

Go karting
You can also test your mettle with go-karting on a mini version of the Brands Hatch Indy circuit, located opposite the Megastore on Sunday. Karting is available for all those aged 8+ and costs £15 for ten minutes, payable at the karting circuit.

Trade village
A vast trade area will be in operation all weekend, with dealers and manufacturers represented, plus championship partners and stalls selling parts, accessories and rider and team merchandise.

Selfie Wall
Take advantage of the #BrandsBSB Selfie Wall - snap yourself and use the hashtag #BrandsBSB to win the chance to upgrade to paddock access! The new Selfie Wall is located opposite the FunZone adjacent to the Pit Straight grandstand.

Kawasaki display
A stunning display of Kawasaki bikes will line Brands Hatch Britten's Parade, located outside the Kentagon, on Sunday.

End of season celebrations
As the title-deciding round returns to Brands Hatch there will be a controlled "track invasion" following the final MCE BSB race on Sunday. There will be two points for fans to enter the circuit once advised by circuit staff that it is safe to do so. These entrance points will be located at Clark Curve and Paddock Hill Bend.  Please do NOT try to enter the circuit at any other point.

Bike security
Lock your bike and set the alarm and immobiliser if it has one and consider having your bike security-marked to deter thieves and make it easier to identify and return if it is stolen.
