Supermoto championships scramble into Cadwell Park this weekend

Monday, November 01 2010

Cadwell Park will host its final motorcycle event of the 2010 season this weekend (6/7 November) when the Louth circuit welcomes the dirt scrambling Norasport British Supermoto Championships.

Supermoto is an evolution of motocross and road racing, and the tight and twisty woodland circuit will host Norasport's season finale - featuring action from solos, quads and superlite machinery.

Several titles are still to be decided including in the British 250 National category, where less than 10 points separate standings leader Malachi Mitchell-Thomas from nearest contender Ben Stafford.

In the British Open National Championship, just a handful of points lie between first and second placemen Graeme Norris and Ben Kirkman, whilst Chris Hodgson is only 30 points adrift of Craig Venske in the British 450 Elite class.

In the British Junior Supermoto Championship, Ryan and Ashley Rudd are battling for overall honours with only 47 points between the duo.

This weekend's racing programme will include the DEP National Youth Cup, DEP 250 Nationals, MCF 450 Nationals, MCF Open Nationals, Superlite 650 Class, Superlite Open Class, British 450 Superquaders and British Open Superquaders.

Tickets for the Norasport Supermoto Championships at Cadwell Park on 6/7 November are available from £10 for adults, with free entry for children aged 12 and under. For more information call 0870 950 9000 or click on the link below.
