Spectators set to return to MSV race events from 22 May

Tuesday, May 11 2021

Fans will return to motorsport events at MSV's five race circuits from Saturday 22 May, following confirmation England will move to Step 3 on the roadmap exit plan. A specific ban on spectators at all sports events will be lifted, which means that up to 4,000 visitors will be welcome per day - the first time since 2020 that it will be possible to watch motorsport trackside in the UK.

A range of COVID-19 safety measures will remain in place as per government guidelines. You can download a summary by clicking here.

Brands Hatch will welcome spectators to the opening rounds of the Intelligent Money British GT Championship and BRDC British F3 Championship on 22-23 May, whilst Oulton Park (MG Car Club), Donington Park (750 Motor Club) and Cadwell Park (EnduroKA) will all open its gates to a limited number of fans too.

Snetterton's first open event will be the BMCRC-MRO 2021 Championships club motorcycle racing event on 29-30 May - the same weekend Brands Hatch hosts the Masters Historic Festival.

Other highlights during the next few weeks will include Oulton Park's Neil Howard Stage Rally, featuring the Motorsport News Circuit Rally Championship and British Rally Championship on 31 May, British Truck Racing at Brands Hatch on 5-6 June, and the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship at Snetterton on 12-13 June.

We will also welcome a limited number of Bennetts British Superbike Championship fans to the series' final two official pre-season tests at Oulton Park (19 May) and Donington Park (8 June).

Access to all working areas (e.g. paddocks, pit lanes and garages) will be limited to competitors, volunteer officials, marshals and those providing a service at the event, until further notice.

Ticket sales for events due to take place in Step 3 must be purchased in advance to guarantee admission. We do expect a number of events to reach capacity. There is currently no requirement for season or resident pass holders to notify us of their attendance beforehand (as they have been factored into capacity calculations), other than for the BTCC event at Snetterton and the Truck Racing event at Brands Hatch.

A range of physical distancing measures will be in place across the site, including grandstands. Please note you must not attend in a group of more than 30 people, and no public camping will be available, unless stated otherwise on the event page.

We anticipate that from 21 June all limits on the number of race event attendees will be removed. The vast majority of our major race meetings are now scheduled to take place after this date.

Please note: this weekend's events (15/16 May) will continue to be run behind closed doors, and only essential personnel may attend.
